Chicken Jalfrezi. I find this recipe rather strange. In England a Chicken Jalfrezi is a firey dish made with green and red peppers and plenty of chillies/chilli powder. Maybe us English have just butchered the original recipe (Indians living in Britain have created new curry dishes to suit our palates that are unheard of back in India) but i advise you to add bell-peppers to this recipe as its not only more.
The cooking technique of making a Chicken Jalfrezi curry was supposedly brought to India by the Chinese. In any case, you only need a few ingredients, roughly chopped up and stir fried in a pan. Add spices and tomato paste and you have yourself an authentic Chicken Jalfrezi. You can have Chicken Jalfrezi using 16 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you cook that.

Chicken Jalfrezi recipe is a dish that originates in the Indian subcontinent. Swap out the chicken for lamb: Lamb jalfrezi is delicious - but it takes longer to cook to become tender. Add a splash of water or stock if it starts to look too dry. Jalfrezi really refers to the cooking style rather than the dish. Broken down it translates to 'jal' or 'jaldi' which means quick and 'frezi', which is to fry.
